Comedian Dara Ó Briain says he was the "victim of a shocking crime" after his notes were stolen from the stage after a gig in Guernsey on Friday night.
The stand-up star was performing at St James in the island's capital, St Peter Port, and noticed afterwards that several pages had been swiped from the stage.
In a video shared on social media, Dara says staff checked security footage and identified the culprit: "I was on stage last night in Guernsey in a lovely place called St James, which is a converted church.

"On stage, there's loads of foliage, and at the end of the gig, I went back out, and my notes were missing, so we launched a massive search - including going over all the security footage - and we found the moment of the theft."
The Mock The Week host shared the footage of their investigation, showing a fan climbing through the foliage to swipe the notes from the stage.

A member of the production team can be heard describing the theft as "That's ballsy, that is."

Mr Ó Briain continued: "We saw who it was, and it turns out they were people who I had met after the gig and said, 'You must come for a drink with us' and told me where they were.
"So I went. I said, 'Hello, I'd like my notes back, please', and they were a bit sheepish about it. So watch out - if you're planning a life of crime, there are a lot of cameras around."
