Jersey Travel List: Bailiwick Turning Red

The Bailiwick of Guernsey will be classified as red on Jersey's safe travel list from 00:01 on Saturday 30 January.

It means everyone coming to Jersey from Guernsey, Sark, Herm and Alderney will have to isolate for ten days and take PCR swabs on Days 0, 5, and 10.

This change now means all arrivals into Jersey, no matter where from in the world, will have to abide by the ten-day isolation rule.

It comes as Guernsey overtakes Jersey for the number of known active Covid-19 cases.

There are now 142 in Guernsey, compared to 117 in Jersey. Jersey is yet to update its statistics today.

The full safe travel list is here.

Guernsey has been in lockdown since last Saturday because of a spread of cases from an unknown source.
