Some Snow In Guernsey's Upper Parishes

There's been snowfall across the Channel Islands overnight, noticeably heavier in Jersey than in Guernsey.

A belt of light snow and sleet has been pulsing down the Channel from the north east over the past few hours, with more to come.

Low temperatures mean that it's fallen as light snow in the upper parishes but the east coast and St Peter Port and St Sampsons are clear. It's wet ,but the sleet isn't sticking.

There was some snowfall in Alderney overnight too, as the weather front hit it first.
