There are road closures, parking restrictions and a warning of the potential for 'significant congestion' as the final preparations are made ahead of the visit of their Majesties on Tuesday (16 July).
Commuters and regular Town visitors may find driving and parking more challenging ahead of the Royal Visit.
The States is warning there may be 'significant congestion' as the popular through route, along the Town Quay, is closed until well after the Royal Visit.
The Crown Pier, where their Majesties will unveil a plaque, is also closed. Parking is available on the Albert Pier all day Monday until 6pm. It re-opens on Tuesday, but only for cycle parking and blue badge holders.
The States say anyone who can use the bus, walk or cycle into Town should try to do so. The bus terminus has been temporarily moved to the North Beach car park and on Tuesday 16 will operate a Saturday service.
To ease traffic flows, the two pedestrian crossings on St Julian's Avenue will be manually operated.
Signs have gone up in a number of St Peter Port roads, including on the route to Cambridge Park and Hauteville and George Road, warning that parking will be suspended entirely on Tuesday 16 July.
