26-year-old suffers serious head injury after e-scooter crash

An e-scooter and a car have collided, leaving the 26-year-old rider in hospital with a serious head injury.

The collision happened at around 7.35 pm on Sunday (23 June) on Belvedere Hill near the junction with Bagot Road in St Saviour.

Jersey Police say the driver of the car is uninjured.

It comes just a day after another collision involving an e-scooter, where a 12-year-old boy was flown to Southampton Hospital with a 'significant head injury'.

Officers would like witnesses to the collision to contact them on 01534 612612 or anonymously using Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Anyone with video footage from doorbell cameras or dashcams is also asked to send it to the police.
