Digital vaccine records that could replace paper certificates are due to be introduced in Jersey by the end of August.
Currently, islanders receive proof they have been vaccinated in a letter around two weeks after their second COVID-19 vaccine dose if both jabs were administered in Jersey.
57,500 had been sent out as of last week.
The government is currently working to provide islanders proof they have been vaccinated if one of their doses was given elsewhere.
A spokesperson says they hope the digital solution will be up and running within 'the next month or so'.
"Work is underway to enable Jersey, and other jurisdictions, to issue double dose certificates regardless of where the doses were given.
"We hope to finalise a digital solution in the next month or so, which should be able to show information on vaccine doses received from different jurisdictions."
