Islanders unable to jet off this year will have another chance in 2026, with the service returning next year.

Blue Islands’ CEO, Rob Veron said;

"Valentine’s Day is perfect to announce new direct flights from Jersey to one of the world’s most romantic cities, enabling islanders to enjoy everything Paris has to offer this summer.

"It’s also an exciting opportunity for visitors from France to discover our beautiful island.

"The connection with Paris not only supports Jersey’s visitor economy but also deepens the long-standing cultural and economic ties between Jersey and France.

"This further addition cements our position as Jersey’s largest carrier in terms of number of flights and choice of routes, with a total of 24 different airports (including our inbound charter activity) served in 2025."

The Charles de Gaulle flights are part of wider efforts to improve Jersey's connectivity, with the government providing Ports of Jersey with up to £2 million over the next two years for route development as part of its Better Business Support package.

Some of that money will be used to market Jersey to Parisian visitors, working with Visit Jersey.

Deputy Kirsten Morel, Economic Development Minister, says the funding underlines how important connectivity is for the visitor economy.

“The two-year, £2 million funding will help Ports of Jersey to attract new airlines and secure new routes. It is being delivered in close partnership with Visit Jersey, whose two-year £4 million destination marketing grant will help them to increase Jersey’s visibility and appeal internationally. I welcome this work, and hope that this will lead the way for other airlines to establish new services to key European cities.”

Ports of Jersey’s Chief Executive, Matt Thomas, said:

"It marks a significant milestone in enhancing our connectivity with Europe and will enable islanders to enjoy easy access to one of Europe’s most beautiful cities. We are really pleased that there will now be direct access from Jersey Airport to fifteen European destinations in 2025."
