A double decker bus has hit Jersey's bus station building in a repeat of crashes in 2015 and 2019.
Jersey Police have closed part of the Esplanade outside Liberation Station, between Castle Street and Conway Street
People were asked to avoid the area.

The same accident occurred in March 2019, when a double decker crashed into the corner of the building early on a Monday morning.

No passengers were on board at the time.
The same thing happened on 30 June 2015, when a double-decker hit the building in the same location injuring 12 people.

Libertybus says there are changes to today's services as a result of the accident:
Due to incident around the Bus Station all buses coming in from the west and going out to the west will leave from the Esplanade (where Channel Island Tyres was situated)

The road reopened at around 8.30am.
