Candidates Face Constituents' Questions

Candidates have been answering questions from islanders

Islanders hoping to serve as Jersey's next States Members are being quizzed in a series of Candidate Question Time events.

They are being hosted by broadcaster Gwyn Garfield-Bennett, with constituents invited to put their questions to the election hopefuls via Zoom.

That's in addition to the 23 traditional in-person hustings taking place across the island.

Around 100 people watched the first event featuring candidates standing to be the new Deputies of St Clement.

The next Question Time takes place tonight for the nine candidates standing to be the new Deputies of St Brelade. You can watch it online here.

Each of the sessions will be uploaded to Vote.je's YouTube channel after the live event.

Candidate Question Time events are being held during various evenings through until the end of June:
