Flight And Ferry Disruption Due To Storm Arwen

Several flights and ferry services in and out of Jersey have been cancelled or delayed because of the impact of Storm Arwen.

Storm force ten winds battered the Channel Islands overnight, with orange level warnings still in place.

Officers have been dealing with fallen trees and fences on roads across the island.

Winds of around 100mph have hit parts of the UK.

Many flights are still due to run as scheduled this afternoon (27 November), with some services rescheduled for Sunday 28 November.

Passengers due to travel today are being asked to contact their airline directly for updates.

Commodore Clipper sailings from Portsmouth to the Channel Islands and back have been cancelled.

Affected passengers are being transferred to the high-speed service from Poole on Monday 29 November.

All Condor Voyager sailings have also been cancelled, with a new service scheduled from Poole on Monday 29 November.
