A fundraiser is taking place in St Helier today to raise money for Jersey Rescue Dogs and Our Shelter Halkida in Greece.
Caitlin Brooks is running the fundraiser, through her organisation Jersey Paws Lending Library.
Throughout the day, islanders are being invited to pop a few quid in the tin at a cake sale on Brook Street.
This will start at 11:30am and finish at 17:00pm unless the teams sell out before.
A raffle is also taking place, with the top prize being a £50 voucher from the Pembroke Pub and second, an afternoon tea for two at Ransoms Garden Centre.
Islanders can also throw their weight behind guessing the name of a teddy bear, in order to win the cuddly toy themselves.

Caitlin Brooks tells us why she's organised this:
"We agreed that we would put all the money that is raised into Our Shelter Greece, they are very full of kittens that need rehoming.
"Some of the money will help those cats and any vet bills.
"We are also donating to Jersey Rescue Dogs, which is a local charity.
"It's busy season, there's lots of animals to be rescued, so every penny will go towards helping those two charities.
"With every penny they have, they can save more animals. It's just as simple as that."
