The average price paid for a house in Jersey has gone up by 16% in the year to the end of March 2022.
The mean value of a three-bed home is now nearly £900,000.
The average paid for a two-bed flat has also gone up to its highest ever price of £519,000, with a one-bed flat still costing around £339,000.
The mean price of a two-bed and four-bed house has fallen by £46,000 and £173,000 respectively compared to the previous quarter.
Mean prices by size in Q4 2021 compared with the previous quarter:
- 1 bedroom flat - £339,000, unchanged.
- 2 bedroom flat - £519,000, up £23,000
- 2 bedroom house - £606,000, down £46,000
- 3 bedroom house - £898,000, up £37,000
- 4 bedroom house - £1,166,000, down £173,000
Market activity is up 39% compared to the same period last year.
339 properties were sold in the first three months of this year. That's 17 more than the same period in 2021.
The average paid for a property here is now £660,000, an increase of £91,000 over 12 months.
The London average is £525,000 and the UK average is £277,000.
