Jersey Bulls player hospitalised in the UK after 'serious injury'

Harry Curtis is awaiting surgery after breaking his leg during last night's game.

The club has thanked everyone who helped Harry during the 'chaotic and distressing' situation at last night's game.

The match at Abbey Rangers was abandoned after the incident, which occurred after a tackle on the player two minutes before half time.

It has since been confirmed that the defender suffered a double leg break  

A club statement says the player was helped to the hospital, after a delayed ambulance response, by the club captain James Queree, who stayed with Harry overnight.

Jersey Bulls expressed their support for Harry and his family, as well as all of the players, staff and supporters that were affected by last night's incident.
