Gus Fraser is combining his passions for fitness and music to set a world record and raise money.
Gus has completed an Iron Man, run the Jersey Marathon, and has done various cycling challenges.
He is now preparing to take on next month's London Marathon, in support of Cancer Research UK.
Gus has been raising money for the charity for the past decade, since losing his father to pancreatic cancer and seeing the disease affect others in his life.
He hopes the added challenge of DJing will encourage more donations for the charity, and be good fun for spectators and fellow runners.
"If you're going to have a big number to raise, you have to push the boat out and do something crazier to get attention.
I've asked that all the money that I raise goes specifically to the clinical trial unit in Southampton. Most people who've been affected by cancer have some sort of treatment there.
I've visited the clinical trails unit to see the amazing work they're doing. There's a really strong link between the trials and the patients that are being treated."
Gus has spent the past six months working with Guinness World Records to ensure his challenge can get into the record books.
This has included having GWR analyse his equipment, agree terms and conditions such as limiting breaks between tracks, and setting a time-frame for completing the marathon.
His training has been unconventional, with the hardest factor being running with the weight of the decks, and working on a technique that ensures they don't bounce around too much.
"I've been running with an 8kg weighted vest, which is really painful. I did 25k the other day and my knees and my legs and ankles were in bits afterwards."
However difficult, his website promises "you be assured I will do this (I have even broken bones on previous fundraising efforts…)"
The challenge is attempting to raise £100,000.
