Man Taken To Hospital After Bus Collision

A cyclist has needed hospital treatment after being injured in a collision with a bus at Liberation Station on the Esplanade.

The man, in his 50s, was cycling at around 5:10 pm on Monday, 17 July, near Stands O and J when the incident happened.

After the collision, with the number 23 bus, he suffered an injury to his elbow and required hospital treatment.

Police would like anyone who may have seen the events unfold to speak with officers on 612 612, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online.
