A nine-week-old puppy reported to have been taken from Trinity yesterday has been reunited with its owner.
Jersey Police said the female cavapoo was taken from a parked vehicle near Meadow Bank in Trinity at around 10:50am on Sunday morning.
An official appeal shared on social media had been shared more than 4,000 times before officers confirmed the puppy had been found safe and well this morning:
"We are very pleased to say that the missing puppy has been found safe and well and reunited with her owner after cuddles with PC Farrington.
"We would like to thank everyone for their calls and for sharing the post!"
The puppy was spotted by a member of the public on a road in Trinity early on Monday morning.
A Police spokesperson told Channel 103 that enquiries into the puppy's disappearance are ongoing, and no arrests have been made.
