Dreaming Trees light show moved to October

The 'Dreaming Trees' show will return to Jersey's Howard Davis Park this year, but not next month.

The popular free event has seen illuminations for the past two February half-terms.

The first one, in 2023, drew an estimated 30,000 people across the week.

The light installation was repeated last February, with the exhibition focusing on the four elements - earth, wind, water and fire - as well as on how trees communicate with each other.

Organisers have announced this year's event will be in the October school holidays instead.

Bruce Labey, founder of Dreaming Trees, said:

"Moving Dreaming Trees to October will help us to build on the success of the past two years of illuminations and take advantage of the spectacular autumn season to which we will be adding some extra sparkle."

Work is underway to develop an ''exciting new theme that will shine a light on the beauty and wonder of natural world."
